Apple Diamond Garnish

These cute garnishes can add a touch of luxury to your drinks. All you need is an apple, sharp knife, hibiscus extract (or any coloured syrup), and edible shimmer powder (optional).

Cut a 1cm thick slice of apple.

Then cut a flat top.

Use your knife to draw/cut a parallel line about a 1/3 of the way down from the top.

Cut the top rounded edges straight then make a small cut at the bottom centre of the apple.

Cut a straight line from the widest corner (on each side) to the centre bottom line to form a diamond shape.

Use your knife to make the cuts/lines as shown above.

Carefully etch out the lines with your knife making sure to avoid cutting all the way through.

Add  shimmer powder to the hibiscus extract. I’ve consumed a heap of this shimmer powder and it DID NOT produce glittery unicorn shit… Just in case you were wondering.

Dunk the apple diamond in the hibiscus + shimmer powder extract.
