fig succulent

September 21, 2018 BY One Drink A Day

A fig succulent is made using the same cutting method as a strawberry rose. It’s actually a lot easier because figs are more malleable? Not sure if that’s the right word but anyway….

The black lines are where you are going to cut the fig. The more cuts you can make the more impressive the end result will be.

Make sure not to cut completely through otherwise you will detach the ‘petals’. Continue the same cutting pattern upwards. When you get to the top of the fig cut a triangle and or diamond shape to remove the tip.

The top part of the fig can be curled using your hands so it spirals in.
